One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has confirmed the birth of his child on Twitter.<br />"I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday.<br />He is healthy and pretty amazing.<br />I'm very happy!!"<br />the 24-year-old boybander tweeted on Saturday, Jan. 23.<br />In a follow-up tweet, the British crooner wrote the phrase, "Daddy daddy cool," which he accompanied with a music note and headphones emoji.<br />As previously reported, Tomlinson and his friend Briana Jungwirth welcomed their first child together in Los Angeles.<br />News that Tomlinson and the 23-year-old L.A.-based stylist were expecting a baby broke last July.<br />The pregnancy was first confirmed by Jungwirth's dad, Joe Jungwirth, in an interview with the Daily Mail.
